Brenda Hilton - Founder & CEO

Brenda Hilton currently serves as Senior Director, Administration at the Collegiate level. Brenda spent the last 25+ years working in low-mid-high major collegiate officiating, collaborating closely with the assignors and the officials at the highest level of Division I men’s basketball and football. Over the years, Brenda has come to appreciate what officials bring to sporting events and to value their position as leaders on and off the fields and courts. Brenda brings an array of experience to the table and understands the whole process of becoming an official from the first inquiry to working the way up to get to the highest level in DI. Her passion for the treatment, recruitment, and retention of officials is well-known around the officiating circuit and her desire to understand the officiating roles over the years has served the world of officiating well. Before her current role, Brenda spent 11 years as the Office Manager at the Summit League (formerly the Mid-Continent Conference), preparing annual budgets, negotiating office contracts, and serving as the HR contact.

Bailee Hilton - Communications Director

Bailee Hilton is a full-time Property Manager in the Milwaukee-Metro area and part-time team member at Officially Human. With a background in Communications, she brings strong interpersonal and organizational skills to every role she takes on. Bailee is passionate about sports and community impact—two things that align perfectly with Officially Human’s mission. Her goal is to help build greater respect for those who work the games and ensure officials feel valued both on and off the field.

Alana Mortimer - Social Media Specialist

Alana Mortimer is from Toronto, Canada. She is pursuing her Master's degree in Sport Business, while serving as the Assistant Coach for the Women's Lacrosse Team at Adrian College. As a former student-athlete and current coach, Alana brings a lifelong passion for sports and a strong commitment to creating positive environments where everyone can experience the true value of sports. Alana's goal with Officially Human is to raise awareness about and continue to spread our mission to athletes, coaches, fans and organizations

Josh Webb - Marketing Intern

Joshua Webb is from Atlanta, Georgia, and is pursuing a Master’s in Sport Administration at Georgia State University after earning his Bachelor’s in Communications from Clayton State University. He currently serves as Webmaster at Atlanta Technical College, leading website redesigns, and content strategy, and has worked with the City of Atlanta Department of Transportation on strategic communications and urban planning initiatives. Through Officially Human, Joshua aims to use digital media to amplify the organization’s mission and foster respect for sports officials at every level of play.

Cody Farenga - Director of Learning & Development

Cody Farenga is a first-generation college graduate from Florida International University, where he graduated in 2016. His degree is in Organizational Communication, with a focus on training and eLearning. He is certified in Lean Six Sigma and his design-software of choice is Articulate Storyline. Since graduating, Cody has been leading a team of 20 Trainers, Instructional Designers, and other L&D roles as a Learning & Development Manager in the corporate world. Aside from that, Cody is an eLearning consultant and LMS Administrator, passionate about organizational development and positive advancement through effective virtual learning. Cody grew up watching and playing sports - his favorites being football and baseball, which is where you’ll find him on the weekends. Mixing learning and development and sports often goes under the radar and behind-the-scenes, but when highlighted, is a major factor in success. That’s his goal!

Camden Horner - Intern

Camden Horner is a junior at Taylor University, where he studies Sport Management and competes as a member of the football program. Alongside his academic and athletic commitments, Camden has spent the past three years officiating, working his way up to high school basketball and collegiate baseball. As an intern with Officially Human, Camden is focused on developing practical, real-world skills in sports marketing and digital media, with an emphasis on video content creation. He brings a unique perspective shaped by his experience as both an athlete and an official, and he is eager to contribute to initiatives that support and elevate sports officials at every level.

Myndee Kay Larson

Myndee Kay Larsen is a nationally respected leader in collegiate athletics, currently in her 19th year with The Summit League and serving as Deputy Commissioner since 2018. She oversees all League championships, directs record-setting basketball tournaments, and serves as the men’s and women’s basketball liaison, while making history as the first and only female member of the NCAA men’s basketball rules committee. Larsen has held numerous NCAA leadership roles, including service on the Championship Cabinet, Committee on Women’s Athletics, and Leadership Council, where she chaired the Women’s Basketball Recruiting Subcommittee. A celebrated former Southern Utah University student-athlete and NCAA record holder, she is the only women’s basketball player at SUU to have her jersey retired. We are proud to have Myndee Kay on the Board of Officially Human, where her leadership and commitment to the humanization of sport officials further extends her lasting impact on the game.
